TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BOOKING CONDITIONS:
Confirmatory deposit:
To confirm the reservation, a deposit will be required.
The deposit must be paid within 3 days of pre-confirmation by either of these two methods:
- bank transfer to our European account;
- PayPal.
Payment terms:
The outstanding balance of your stay will be taken at the check-in by:
- cash in Euros or Cape Verdean Escudos;
- bank transfer to our European account;
- PayPal;
- Credit Card (Visa or MasterCard).
No other currency or checks will be accepted.
CONDITIONS OF CANCELLATION:
Cancellation, modification or no-show:
- Cancellation prior to your arrival date will result in loss of deposit.
Late arrival or early departure due to cancellations or changes made by flight companies:
- in such an event, the flight company would provide accommodation and board, and therefore you would be liable for payment for any unused nights booked.
Check-out in advance of the dates booked:
- in the event of an emergency (illness, injury or serious family problems in your home country), unused nights will not be charged for.
- If you decide to change your program for reason not associated with the apartment conditions or our services, unused nights will be charged for.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIME:
Check-in: from 13h00 – Check–out: until 11h00.
Subject to availability and on request, you can have the apartment available earlier or later.
TOURIST TAX:
The government of Cape Verde will charge a Tourist Tax of 275 ECV (2,5 €) per person and per night, for all persons over 16 years until 10 days stay. The accommodation acts only as an intermediary in this process and should be payed in cash.
TRANSFER FROM AND TO THE AIRPORT / PORT (paid service):
In your correspondence with regard to your booking, please don’t forget to mention an up-to-date arrival time in the apartment so we can be ready for your check in. In case you would like the transfer service, we can send one of ours reliable taxi to pick up you for the special price of 8€ per way (instead of 10€). In this case, please send us the arrival time and flight number, and the driver will wait for you at arrivals with the signboard written “BookingBoavista - TRANSFER”. In case you bring a board bag please advise so we can organize a bigger car.
In case of change of arrival time, this service will only be guarantee if we are notified of said change at the following numbers: +238.9129626 (Eka - Call and WhatsApp) or +238.9983232 (Ayana - WhatsApp). The transfer can be done also from the port for guests coming by ferry, but this service can be booked only from 7h00 to 22h00.
On departure we can also arrange your transfer to airport or port.
